When I was in middle school, I sometimes engaged in self-harm due to the immense pressure I was under. Although it didn’t leave any visible scars, it remains a scar on my journey of growing up. However, I no longer hide from or run away from that painful past. I believe that the painful past will grow with me and become a part of who I am. Having gone through that pain, I’ve become better equipped to handle stress.
